What is An Appointment Setter?

An appointment setter is someone that contacts potential clients or customers and arranges sales meetings or calls. As an appointment setter, you will answer questions or concerns and determine how interested they might be in a product or service. An appointment setter encourages to potential client or customer to do a meeting or phone call with someone that will finalize the sale.

How do you become an effective appointment setter?

You must always sound excited about the product or service that you are promoting and must be able to answer general questions. You are using a script to help guide you but you never want to sound robotic and want to make the conversation sound normal. You must always be prepared to handle objections and know effective ways to get around the objection.

If you decide to hire me as your appointment setter, my commitment to you is that I will be professional and courteous at all time. I do not use an automated-dialer so no robo calls from me. My goal is to be an extension of your company and take over the task that you can spend more time closing the sales and increasing your revenue. I am very serious about creating the right plan for your company.

Appointment setting and cold calling requires that you be very persistent so that you can set the appointment with the decision maker. I am a quick thinker to help come up with creative ways to get past the gatekeeper. Also, organization is another thing that I am highly committed to as well. Making sure that all notes are taken, emails and contact information record accurately and all details are one of my top priorities. It is just wasted calls or time if the details are not provided accurately.
